Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Gujarat (1 Rajkot & 1 Ahmedabad)
Work days: 6 days a week

Job Overview:
The Area Sales Manager at Univia will be responsible for leading and supervising the sales activities within a designated region. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders like Retailers and influencing farmer.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned region to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Identify sales opportunities and potential customers in that territory.
Set sales goals, quotas, and objectives for the sales team.
Monitor and evaluate team performance against sales targets.
Work on getting forecasting of products for each month
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Representatives.
Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members to improve their performance.
Foster a collaborative and motivated sales team culture.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, farmers, agricultural cooperatives and other stakeholders.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
Market Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities, pricing etc
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and threats.
Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and product offerings.
Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of agricultural products and services offered by the company.
Educate the sales team and customers about product features, benefits, and applications.
Usage of app to be promoted among GPs
Budget and Reporting:
Prepare and manage the sales budget for the region.
Generate regular sales reports and performance metrics for senior management.
Compliance:
Ensure that all sales activities adhere to relevant agricultural regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in agricultural sales or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
In-depth knowledge of agricultural products, practices, and industry trends.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key agricultural stakeholders.
Proficiency in using sales management software and tools.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
