Salary Range: Up to ₹12 LPA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to manage and optimize our financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and support strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing capital finance, overseeing accounting functions, conducting audits, and implementing financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working Capital Management & Financing
    • Oversee working capital finance and short-term debt management to maintain liquidity and financial health.
    • Liaise with banks and financial institutions to secure funding, negotiate terms, and manage relationships effectively.
  2. Third-Party Financing & Retailer Support
    • Manage third-party financing products specifically designed for retailers (dealer financing products).
    • Oversee the accounting and reconciliation for these financing products, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
  3. Accounting, Reporting & Financial Reviews
    • Conduct monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
    • Review and analyze monthly overheads, debtor and creditor reports, and purchase transactions.
    • Ensure accurate inventory accounting and management.
  4. Audit & Compliance
    • Lead internal and statutory audits, including planning, coordinating, and resolving audit findings.
    • Oversee audits and assessments under Income Tax and GST regulations.
    • Ensure timely GST compliance and statutory compliances, including MCA, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and other relevant requirements.
  5. MIS & Budgeting
    • Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports at multiple levels to assist in strategic decision-making.
    • Support investor relations by preparing and reporting Investor MIS.
    • Develop, monitor, and report on budgeting, analyzing variances to drive improvements.
  6. Accounting System & SOP Compliance
    • Maintain accurate and timely records using the ZOHO Accounting System, ensuring that all financial data aligns with organizational standards.
    • Enforce adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the finance department to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  7. Treasury Operations & Cash Flow Management
    • Manage treasury operations, optimize cash flow, and ensure efficient allocation of financial resources.
    • Conduct financial analysis and forecasts to support treasury decision-making.
  8. Due Diligence & Fundraising Support
    • Conduct due diligence for fundraising initiatives, preparing detailed reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic growth initiatives.
  9. Statutory & Tax Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to statutory compliances for companies, including income tax, GST, MCA, TDS, PF, ESIC, and PT.
    • Monitor changes in regulatory requirements, update financial policies accordingly, and ensure compliance across all functions.
  10. Inter-Departmental Coordination
    • Coordinate with other departments to facilitate accurate financial reporting and to ensure seamless integration of financial practices across the organization.
    • Provide financial insights to other teams and support business units with relevant data.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 to 5 years in a similar role with a focus on accounting, audits, statutory compliance, and financial analysis.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ZOHO Accounting System, advanced knowledge of tax regulations (Income Tax, GST), excellent analytical skills, and experience in budgeting and MIS reporting.
  • Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proven ability to work cross-functionally.
