Work Days: 6 days a week
Salary Range: Up to 10 LPA


Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) at Univia will be responsible for leading the sales function across the Saurashtra region. This senior leadership role requires strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives, expand Univia’s footprint, and build long-term customer relationships within the agri-input sector.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Develop and implement region-specific sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Define monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and ensure their achievement.
  • Monitor market demand and guide monthly product forecasting in coordination with Area Sales Managers and Sales Officers.

Team Management & Leadership:

  • Lead, guide, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers and field staff.
  • Recruit, train, and develop the team to enhance skillsets and overall performance.
  • Drive a performance culture with regular reviews, feedback, and motivation.

Business Development & Customer Engagement:

  • Identify new market opportunities and expand retailer/dealer and GP networks.
  • Foster relationships with key channel partners, influencers, and farmers.
  • Conduct regular field visits to ensure engagement and alignment with customer needs.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:

  • Stay abreast of regional agricultural trends, competitive activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Share insights with senior management to inform product positioning and marketing initiatives.

Product & Brand Promotion:

  • Champion the promotion of Univia’s product portfolio.
  • Drive usage and awareness of the Univia mobile app among channel partners.
  • Organize farmer meetings, GP activations, and field demos.

Reporting & Budget Management:

  • Manage regional budgets efficiently, ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
  • Provide timely sales reports, MIS, and market feedback to top management.

Compliance & Ethics:

  • Ensure all operations follow regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  • Uphold high standards of integrity and ethical sales practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture or Business (preferred).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Agri-input sales, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of Saurashtra’s agri landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Comfortable with tech tools, reporting dashboards, and app-based platforms.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
